10GB/sec speed with Li-Fi?
Light Fidelity ( Li-Fi) is a bidirectional, high-speed and fully networked wireless communication technology similar to Wi-Fi. The term "Li-Fi" was first coined by Harald Haas at TED global talks. We all know what Wi-Fi is, data is transmitted through Wi-Fi by radio frequency and it is the most popular Optical Wireless Communication(OWC) method. Li-Fi uses light emitting(LED) diodes are used to deliver network, mobile, high speed communication in a similar manner to Wi-Fi, in short we can say that this is a method of transmitting data through every light we have. You are familiar to how Wi-Fi technology works, you simply have a router and a broadband connection and you can get data to your smartphone or any piece of technology that supports Wi-Fi technology. Now, think of getting data from the light you have installed in your room and with much faster data transmission as we all know light travels much faster than radio waves. The general term is Visible Light Communication
